Delivery Crew

This is the official start of our "off-shore" journey....the Captain and crew delivering the boat from Vancouver to San Franscisco.

Oops....

On Christmas Eve, Diana injured her knee and spent most of the next 3 months on crutches, with a hand splint.

Winter at Silver Star Mountain

After tucking QuickStar in at her winter home at the El Cid Marina in Mazatlan, we flew back to Canada to our winter nest at Silver Star Mountain, Vernon, B.C. We spent a fabulous winter skiing, snowmobiling, learning bridge, meeting new friends on the mountain, visiting with friends and family.

During this time we did have friends and our boys make use of QuickStar while in Mazatlan.

Our plans now include spending about 8 months of the year onboard and 4 months at Silver Star. The best of both worlds!!!!

Winter 2007/2008

We are blissfully retired...started our live-aboard adventure in April 2007 - spent the summer in B.C. - sailed down to San Franscisco - spent two months in California - raced to Mexico and spent time cruising in La Paz then finally to Mazatlan where we spent a week at the El Cid Marina and then tucked the boat in for the winter.
