Winter at Silver Star Mountain

After tucking QuickStar in at her winter home at the El Cid Marina in Mazatlan, we flew back to Canada to our winter nest at Silver Star Mountain, Vernon, B.C. We spent a fabulous winter skiing, snowmobiling, learning bridge, meeting new friends on the mountain, visiting with friends and family.

During this time we did have friends and our boys make use of QuickStar while in Mazatlan.

Our plans now include spending about 8 months of the year onboard and 4 months at Silver Star. The best of both worlds!!!!

Yup...it works...hehehe

Hey, my friends! I am so envious! I wish I was sailing with you...hmmm, maybe you won't notice a stowaway...next time.

Great to see all the lovely pics, and to see you're blogging. It gets very addictive--trust me!

Well, while you're sailing to beautiful locations, I've been having fun giving away books.

I've taken part in a US initiative called Operation Teen Book Drop (even though I'm in Canada) and today I gave 12 books to the Youth Emergency Shelter Society here in Edmonton. I blogged about it (of course!)

Tonight from 9-11 EST, I'll be participating on a forum. We'll be giving away books and prizes. :)

Join the Post-Op Party!

Cheers and happy and safe travels to you both! And Diana, be careful on those crutches.

Hugs,
