Casting off....Viva la France

We have finally been able to get going, as there is a break in the weather, so it looks like we have a decent window to get to Futuna - the French protectorate about 200 miles north of Fiji.  We will be casting off in the next half an hour. We are expecting a 2-night passage.  I will post tomorrow morning and on the arrival morning for those of you who like to come along for the ride.  Hopefully, it will be fairly smooth sailing, although it will be raining and overcast.  We will have to travel through the Sumo straight around midnight tonight for a few hours, so will be taking it easy through this section.  Until tomorrow....Enjoy the rest of your long weekend.
